Hiking through Golfito reserve

Go off at the "Banco Nacional" and take the cross street. Follow behind the last house the walking path to the right.

After the drinking water supply of Golfito go up quite steeply hill on a narrow jungle path. Watch for wild live. After about 1,5 hours you reach the crest, were the road goes on right down to Golfito.

First break is announced, go to the stone table about 100 metres to the left with a beatiful view. Now it is only 5km to walk down to Golfito. You can observe many birds.

Coming to hungry and thirsty, it is desirable to turn on the main road to the left and to enjoy exellent meals in the restaurant Mar y Luna (about 800 metres)

Of course you can make the tour reverse, but you must watch out for the narrow path down to Golfito. In a right turn, 100 metres before the stone table with a nice view, goes off the road.
